Spendly is built on the principle of absolute financial privacy. We collect the following types of information:

  • Local Financial Data: All your expense records, amounts, titles, and budget configurations are stored securely in a local Room database on your device. This data is never uploaded to our servers or accessible by us.
  • AI Processing: When you use the Smart Log feature, the natural language text is processed locally on your device to extract financial parameters. This information is used solely to populate your local database.
  • Diagnostic Data: We may collect anonymized crash reports and performance metrics (e.g., app crash logs) to ensure the stability of your financial records. This data contains no personal or financial identifiers.

2. No Third-Party Tracking

Spendly does not use cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytical tools that monitor your spending habits. Your financial behavior remains entirely private to you.

3. Data Protection & Security

We utilize the Android Sandbox system to ensure that your Spendly data is isolated from other applications. We recommend using device-level encryption and biometric locks (Fingerprint/FaceID) to further secure your local Spendly database.

4. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

Spendly empowers you with full control over your data:

  • Right to Erasure: You can delete all your financial data at any time using the "Reset All Data" feature in the Settings menu.
  • Right to Access: Since all data is local, you have full access to your records at any time, even without an internet connection.
  • Right to Portability: You can view and manage your full transaction history through the Insights Hub.

5. Children's Privacy

Spendly is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Compliance with Law

Spendly is a product of Rejoice Hub, based in Surat, Gujarat. While we do not host your data, we will comply with legal requests regarding the application’s operation where required by law or subpoena.
